• Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum—The Bob Bullock Museum offers both rotating exhibits and permanent exhibits that detail the history of Texas. The Museum also has an IMAX theater that plays several films every day.
• LBJ Presidential Library and Museum—The LBJ Museum chronicles the events of LBJ's presidency and includes a permanent exhibit about America between 1908 and 1973.
• Harry Ransom Center—The Harry Ransom Center at UT includes a great gallery that houses a Gutenberg Bible and the first photograph in its permanent exhibit.
