From the hotel to the venue
Plan for this to take about 30 minutes unless it is rush hour on Friday. If it's rush hour on Friday, plan for an hour. You can take either Loop 1 (the locals call it Mopac) or I-35 South. Google Maps favors I-35 on the way there and Mopac on the way back. We suggest Mopac both ways, which are the directions that follow.
Turn left onto 8th Street from the Omni parking garage (if it comes out the same way you go in. If there is a different entrance, please consult the map to determine your location and which way to go).
Turn left onto Congress Avenue.
Travel two blocks south on Congress Avenue then turn right onto 6th Street.
Take 6th Street west to Loop 1 and turn left onto Loop 1.
Exit TX-71/US-290 west.
Take US-290 when it splits to the left. There's a large Albertson's grocery store at that intersection.
Continue along 290 for about 11 miles. The Terrace Club will be on the left.
